Not all the shades are right up my alley but so far from what I’ve tested I can say they all have an amazing texture and formula and they are very pigmented. Previously I reviewed shades like MAC Higher Power Spellbinder Shadow or MAC Mysterious Influence Spellbinder Shadow so go check out those as well if you want. #Mac cosmetics eyeshadow in aqua swatch seriesSign up for Ebates and get cash back on your purchase from ELF.I’m continuing my review series of MAC Spellbinder Shadows launching for Fall 2016 with a new gorgeous shade MAC Retrograde Spellbinder. ![]() The ELF Aqua Primer Mist is available from ELF Cosmetics. I think it’s definitely worth trying and I did like the formula, but until the packaging is improved, I wouldn’t rush out to grab this primer. I liked the formula of the primer but wish the packaging worked as it’s supposed to. Because of the unreliable packaging, I was unable to try this as a setting spray or to refresh my makeup during the day. If the ELF Aqua Primer Mist packaging was better, I would say this is a great budget-friendly vegan primer to pick up. My foundation applied smoothly and did seem to wear well through the day. I found that it worked best with serum, liquid, and cream foundations. I used this primer with several foundation types – serum, liquid, cream, and powder. It still feels very light and I felt that it did help brighten the appearance of my skin. The primer goes on as a very thin liquid but gets thicker and somewhat tacky as you apply it to your skin. Realizing that the packaging wouldn’t allow me to spray the ELF Aqua Primer Mist directly onto my face, I improvised and decided to try out the formula by massaging the liquid in my hands into my face. I thought maybe it was just a fluke and tried again, spraying into my palms this time, but it doesn’t appear to be. Instead, I got a steady stream of product that all landed on one part of my face. When I first used the primer, I followed the instructions by holding the bottle 8-10 inches away and spraying on my skin. The Verdict: The ELF Aqua Primer Mist is a good primer, in less than terrific packaging. I would not suggest spraying this on your face without a test spray into your palms first, and would not suggest using it to refresh your makeup. Vegan formula.Ĭons: The spray mechanism is a bit unpredictable. Pros: Worked well to provide and even base for makeup and to keep makeup in place. Beauty Tip: For an extra revitalizing feel store mist in the refrigerator prior to use.“ Use prior to makeup application to help prime the skin, after makeup application to set makeup in, or throughout the day to refresh. ![]() #Mac cosmetics eyeshadow in aqua swatch skinIngredients: Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Coceth-7, PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Siloxanetriol Alginate, Caffeineĭirections for use: “ Hold bottle about 8 to 10 inches from the face and mist with several sprays evenly all over the skin for instant hydration.
